The first year of the awards ceremony Czech Grand Design took place on 24th February 2007 at the famous Dvorak Hall in Prague’s Rudolfinum.
First Czech designers were awarded by independent professionals, members of the Design Academy of the Czech Republic. There were eight award categories: Designer of the Year in the categories of Product Design, Fashion Design and Graphic Design; Fashion Photographer of the Year; Discovery of the Year; Seller of the Year; Producer of the Year; Hall of Fame.
Few days after the Czech Grand Design Award ceremony took place, an exhibition of awarded works was opened at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague and will be available until 4th March 2007.
