50 young and international designers from all around the world will be presenting their products around Living and Life at the imm 2008 in January.
Together with our FABULOUS FIFTY we aim to cause a whirl in the d3-Halle in Cologne from January 14th – 20th. You will be thrilled not only by the inventiveness of our boys and girls but by our stand itself, which we have turned into a 450 m² design object. Expect to be surprised.

Studio Tai2 wants to invite you for design festival SUPERMARKET, which is taking place on 1. – 2. 12. 2007 at gallery tranzitdisplay, Dittrichova 9, Praha 2. map. Products from young designers and design studios from furniture and product design, porcelain, glass, jewelery and fashion can be seen all weekend from ten to ten. This is a super-design-market so be prepare to shop on weekend.
Moscow based company has built the machine, which has received the name “Volga-Kayenn” (Volga-Cayenne). It is on based Porsche SUV, and GAZ-21 “Volga” the 1957 release, exactly based on Porsche with look of Volga , but it does not have any common parts. The body, including the power structure that is made “from scratch”. Interiors, style of the old “Volga” also created new, and retains all the functionality Porsche Cayenne. The machine is decorated with canonical communist plot, and star mosaic from Swarovski.
Consider only the man-turned Cardi ateliers in Moscow to cover up your shiny new Porsche Cayenne, under the old “Volga”! Workshop Сardi agreed to implement the order, but because the project has been very difficult from a technical point of view, they connected the work with another Moscow’s firm-R.A.D. ( “Russian Road Design”).

_FIRMA was accused of numerous harassments for the past year. Thier concepts ware called mockeries and Warhol type parodies moreover many doubted if there are any real projects by _FIRMA.
So _FIRMA replaced the site with a motion picture directed by Michael Moore and therefore made of 25-th frames only.
Besides young Hungarian talents, the series of events related to the exhibition titled Domestic Trend and Design taking place betwen March 6th and 9th, 2008 now also introduces those of the Eastern European region for the first time. The already familiar “madeinhungary” and the “m.e.d.” (meeting of eastern design) making its debut have a separate venue now, for the very first experimental occasion and together in downtown Gödör Club. The four-day Eastern European design meeting, „m.e.d.” in 2008 is the first chance for the most talented designers from Slovakia, Slovenia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania and the Ukraine to introduce themselves here.
On November 27 in Paris (15.30-16.30 CET), a panel of internationally renowned experts from the environmental, design, and technology communities, are speaking at the International Forum on Design and the Environment presented by Electrolux Design Lab 2007 (www.ElectroluxDesignLab.com). The Forum aims to raise awareness about climate change and sustainable design.
The European Union has embarked on a plan to cut down its energy consumption by 20% by 2020–and the use of household appliances has a key role to play in achieving this goal, which is why Electrolux is hosting this global event.
