Volga-Cayenne – Russian build

November 27th, 2007 by Zampik

Moscow based company has built the machine, which has received the name “Volga-Kayenn” (Volga-Cayenne). It is on based Porsche SUV, and GAZ-21 “Volga” the 1957 release, exactly based on Porsche with look of Volga ;-) , but it does not have any common parts. The body, including the power structure that is made “from scratch”. Interiors, style of the old “Volga” also created new, and retains all the functionality Porsche Cayenne. The machine is decorated with canonical communist plot, and star mosaic from Swarovski.

Consider only the man-turned Cardi ateliers in Moscow to cover up your shiny new Porsche Cayenne, under the old “Volga”! Workshop Сardi agreed to implement the order, but because the project has been very difficult from a technical point of view, they connected the work with another Moscow’s firm-R.A.D. ( “Russian Road Design”).

You know, there was one more interesting project earlier in the Moscow. Volga based on BMW 850 CSi :) It’s Volga Coupe. But the original Volga model released 1957 had 4 doors. You can see it here http://www.zaz-tuning.kiev.ua/articles/volga_v12_coupe.htm
