Rajmund Domán studying at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design won the Henkel Art.Award on October 30th. The Hungarian desiger student’s coffee-machine named kotyoGO was ranked as the best one. The Henkel Art.Award 2007 invited tenders in the category of industrial design this year. Hungary submitted 31 projects, of which 20 were made by individual applicants and 4 by creative groups. The Hungarian jury of professionals nominated five artists for the international contest for which projects from 30 countries have been submitted.

The first prize of Henkel Art.Award 2007 is 7,000 Euros. In addition to this, the company supports the winner to organize an exhibition in his mother country. On November 15th an exhibition of industrial designs by the applicants selected for the finals – including Rajmund Domán – shall be opened and awaits visitors till the end of the month in the exhibition hall of Galerie ArtPoint (A-1010 Vienna, Universitätsstrasse 5, open from Monday to Friday 14–18. p.m.).
