ORB – Bracelet watch

Signity Watch Design Contest 2008 – entry
Orb – bracelet watch
Interesting time piece with all over display lines that shows the current time. Design is simple and modern with use of hi-technology. Bracelet just like it should be, clean, shiny and with attitude. Girls will like it. This project is work of young and very talented Serbian designer, Djordje Zivanovic – Djo:Djo, currently student of industrial design on IAAD, Torino.

Lines are all around watch, every line is attached to one time size, hours, minutes and seconds. This bracelet watch is coming in two different color modes, black and white and time lines could change the color over the software. There`s also one gemstone for time adjustment, working on a finger touch. Very cool and impressive design piece.

If you like this design give support vote to Djo:Djo on the Signity Design Competition

It looks awesome. Are the time lines really moving around the bracelet? The line for seconds must look really great while moving. I want it for my girlfriend

Honestly, this watch design is a little too “plastic” for my taste, but to each their own… I like exclusive pieces, not fad fashions.
For a modern design from the signity competition, I think the best concept piece is “Luna” from the professional watch by designer John Pszeniczny better.
Central & Eastern Europe sure do produces the best designers I agree… as this designer has already won 3 Emmys in TV production, an i-lounge i-phone concept competition and already has his watch designs in the Bazel world watch show by a private company.
I worship the Warhol!

I have been looking for a site to purchase this watch- with no luck. Could someone direct me to a site. This watch is fabulous- and I’d like to be the first to have one.

This watch is still a concept
If you would like to see it in stores, someone must first put it in production line. We hope some of the watch producers will have a sense for this concept and will buy it from designer so then it would be reachable in stores.
Cheers!
