Cala aethiopica lamp

14.jpg

Herbaceous perennial plant is pleasant to the eye of European people more than three centuries for now. Calla aethiopica belongs to aroids subfamily, is ecdemic from South America. Stem length can exceed 1.5 meters and cutaway flower can stay in vase more than two weeks.

But all these facts don’t have direct direction to the current project. One interesting feature – flower bud consists only from one and only petal. Such nature perfection has provided inspiration for current lamp creation.

Its lampshade, just like a flower, consists of the only leaf – metal circle, cut by radius line (technologically not expensive). This leaf, coiled into cone, forms reflective lampshade. The most interesting thing is that user can change the radius of the cone himself, thereby correcting the angle of light dispersion.

By your current mood you can create narrowly pointed light (for example, for reading or intimate lighting) or scattered light (which allows to light the whole place) in your room.

Calla aethiopica lamp is for people who adjust their lives themselves!
