Interesting event in the Moscow design life

One of the most interesting events in the Moscow design life – degree session at the British Higher School of Art and Design. Here you meet everyone who is interested in design development and in making business through design – from the chief editors of the well-known design editions to the producing companies’ representatives.
Among the most interesting projects we could name two that could perform at the world market with the highest commercial potential. Tatiana Karmaeva, Product Design CPD student, presented a decision developed within an “experience design” trend, full of emotions and introspective analysis. With Tatiana’s chair parents and children could stay emotionally connected even being involved in different activities.

All the parents know how important is for a child to be emotionally sure that mom a dad is somewhere near through touching each other or just leaning against at the sofa. But after a hard day parents are not ready to play games for a long time with the children, which are so important for saving the emotional contact. So children should “go away” and “play in their room”. Tatiana tries to solve the problem of emotional contact through the brilliant furniture idea – presenting two- or even three or four-part inflatable chair with the air-connection between them. If mom sits on one chair a child feels it sitting on the other! A brilliant decision that could be realized in social places as well.
An innovative ultrasonic dishwasher from Alexey Danilin needs only one glass of water for a month of constant use without any detergents!

Ultrasonic technology effectively helps to solve the problem of pollution and resource saving. An utopian dream? No, just a reality ready to be produced. The project was developed under the brief task for Electrolux Design Lab 2008.
Great experiences, new ideas, insights and more at at the British Higher School of Art and Design.
