MS INDUSTRIAL 2008  DESIGN COMPETITION

Respected designers,

Last year company MS INDUSTRIAL, China started co-operation with world wide designers in order to get better design for it`s production line. The results of that co-operation was great so we are now expanding our network.

This year, we are happy to announce design competition for these products:

• 1.       Speakers System 2.0 (speakers for computer)
• +
• 2.       Speakers System 2.1 (2 satelites and one subwoofer)
• 3.       Device for implementing the speakers into (Imagination to will, open for all ideas)

Guidelines:
We are in position to offer to market the speakers of great power and perfect quality. Dimensions of speakers will be defined. We need design that will follow this perfect quality sound. In the process of design your guidelines should be:

Beautiful, simple, functional, and productable

Our speakers with their characteristics pretend to be in class of Hi-Fi speakers, but by dimensions they are very small. What we whant is when someone see out speakers on the desk, his tought should be that they are the advertisment for some big Hi-Fi sound system. When they hear them, sound should be as great as design…

Small package with great heart, that`s should be moto of this competition.

Materials:
You could use plastic, metal, wood, and marble ( some quantity of those marble made, would go as a gift )

Works format:
Works should be delivered as .jpg images in .72 dpi and A3 paper format. We would accept other formats too, but this one is the most desirable.

Time:
START NOW!  That means 24.07.2008!! END of competition is the LAST DAY OF AUGUST 2008! Works that come affter the end date, will be accepted but will not be in a regular prize competition, they will be considered later for a fee!

Rules:
All that come into the final phase will have to agree with design contract , the contract will be available on the end of the august.

While you design the speakers, if you design 2.0 and 2.1 speaker system, they should be part of one collection, you could select to work on any of them as a single project, but your chance is bigger if you design both.

Third oprtion is „your idea“ and that is special category, you should give your best. Guideline for this product design that we would like small devices like desk mp3 player with watch, speaker system for IPOD, BoomBOX and everything else you could imagine with accent on innovations, great design and idea.

For competition to be valid, we need more than 20 designs submited on the end of the August month per category, 20 for speakers and 20 for third option.

You could send design for both options.

If on the end of the competition in top selected come two different products as speakers 2.0 and free idea, winne will be selected in open vote on the www.designville.org or www.dizajnzona.com

Registration for competition is by sending e-mail with your name on : competition [at] designville.org

On this same adress you will send your works in .rar or .zip file. File should be named by your name and surname. In that file you should include .txt with informations about yourself.
