In Łódź this year on the International Design Festival there were many very interesting exhibitions and accompanying actions: workshops, lectures. Viva LED is exhibited in one of the huge industrial old buildings. Possible to see until 31-st of October 2008.
“A collective exhibition of Polish designers who design light systems based on light- emitting diodes (LED). This new technology requires a totally new approach. It is not limited to designing a light frame or a lampshade. The element which emits light is an integral, graphical part of a lamp. The projects were provided by: Puff Buff Design (Ania Siedlecka and Radek Achramowicz), Michał Radziemski, DBWT (Daria Burlińska and Wojtek Traczyk), Malafor, Emendes. All the designers are also producers of their works.”
