Danger! Those who are able to create a flawless flat structure at the bottom of their cocktail glasses just by shaking it may face level 2! Same stacking game, but with your favourite party guests ;)

  2. Andrew Xoler Says:

TETЯIS storm in my glass! Lick them down to Level 9!!

We’ll need multiple color of juices in order to make the matching color of ice blocks!

  5. Catherine Says:

I need these! My boyfriends 21st birthday is coming up soon and what a fantastic way to enjoy his first legal alcoholic drink with his favorite game of all time! He’ll play Tetris for hours on end, and now he can even play it while quenching his thirst.

  6. Lisa Says:

Would look great with some vodka straight up

  7. neuralien Says:

If you keep adding blocks to your drink, won’t it end up being really watered down? Oh well, Tetris is more fun and addictive than drinking anyways.

It’d be funny at a party, seeing all the guests shaking their glasses in the hopes of making the blocks fit =P

  8. D Says:

I could imagine playing a nice kinky game of tetris/jenga on someone’s… um… stomach.

  9. sneakstar Says:

if you havent yet read this article about tetris, you should. best tetris article ever written.

    http://www.feministgamers.com/?p=42

And this tie in of tetris and the kitchen proves it! ;) i keeed. i keeed.

    actually, i need.

  10. toasted Says:

    cool! tetris out of ice!

  11. jordi Says:

These ice cubes would be perfect for me. You have no clue how addicted to tetris i am. I have it on my DS and currently my record is Level 115… I dont know the exact lines because apparently they thought it would be fine to stop counting at 999 lines. What a shame. And with these ice cubes I could totally play while I drink. Although that could get messy…

  12. lindsay Says:

I’ll make sure to have Korobeiniki playing in the background while shaking the perfect martini to perfection while advancing to level 3.

  13. Andrew Chau Says:

Why is it that I just keep losing? And I just can’t keep it down…WHO KEePS refilling my glass?

  14. XTIAN Says:

    12 Tetris peices = 12 boners X 3 = 36 boners.

    Makes sense to me.

  15. Twiggy Says:

All I can think is that it will get to be 2:00 in the morning and I’ll have to keep making more because I have to make it to level 10 in my water glass…..

  16. claire Says:

oh man, tetris in my drink now? i cant escape it at work on facebook, in my dreams.. NOW MY WATER?!

    CURSE YOU!

  17. Dustin Boston Says:

I thought I was being clever by getting rid of my ice cube trays in order to save space in the freezer. Then I realized I really miss ice. I tried to make some in a tupperware container but a 6 inch circular ice cube that is about 1 inch thick would not fit into my glass. This is very sad. I am humming the theme song to Tetris right now…

  18. Dustin Boston Says:

By the way, that was a true story.

  19. Rik Says:

  20. Wamptris © Says:

Now all I’ll have to do is buy square glasses and enough Liquid Nitrogen to freeze Vodka, for the massive cocktail party, I’m gonna throw you guys… Of course once you award them to me. ;)

  21. Wampblocks © Says:

And just because a lot of Tetris nerds are reading these…

Someone needs to start THIS petition!

Surely we can get ALL the modern game designers to add a simple option or box to check that disables all of the modern cheats to this awesome game!?

C’mon Ghost, Unlimited Rotating once the piece is CLEARLY down, see the next 10 pieces, and last but not least a HOLD PIECE!? This is the ONLY Communist inventions, I can think of, that the West has made WORSE! ;D

    LCD-GB-4-EVA!

  22. Tony Says:

My dog is called Tetris. She loves chewing ice cubes and chasing them across the floor. This is clearly a match made in heaven.

  23. roitsch Says:

i wonder if you are able to put a lot of cubes in a glass, and there comes a skyrocket out of it, like when you reach a certain level in tetris!? crazy!

  24. robert Says:

I collect these ice cube trays! :) The latest is this: http://forma.co.hu/shop/images/termekek/1941.jpg But this tetris ice cube is the best from all of them.

  25. Anton Granik Says:

My daughter will love one of these! We will play Tetris on our dining table. :)

  26. Kris Says:

This could mean a revolution in Eskimo-architecture!
(At least for mini or dwarf-Eskimos)

  27. Kari Says:

Amazing world in which cold ice becomes something more than just cold ice. World of orange, blue and green colours, world of simple but at the same time very interesting forms. And in the end – world of our…childhood. When we have been playing this funny endless game under our school desks,in buses or trains during our trips from one place to another.
It would be SO SO SO nice to have such an astounding world, which THIS WONDERFUL THING consists of in your home ;)

p.s. Sorry for probably not very good English ;)

  28. Jeremy Says:

I think I need some sort of flat rectangular glasses to use this with, so I could actually play tetris with the ice.

  29. Calvin Allan Says:

Despite including two per ice tray, one can never have enough of the long/straight, four-block pieces. I’d anticipate a fight or two, if your friends are anything like mine.

  30. bpwnz Says:

These would go great in my Pajitnov cocktails (cheap Russian vodka and random bits of antiquated computer hardware)

  31. Jacob Heer Says:

Ice Tetris is not just a winter sport anymore!!

  32. Lazarou Says:

I reached level 99 once when I was 8 on my old school gameboy (which) still have and use at age 23. And now I can drink 99 proof booze with tetris ice cubes. It’ll be like getting the same high when I was 8, but minus passing out and/or urinating on myself.

  36. Mark Says:

I can hear the sound already. And my eyes are burning from the Gameboy screen :)

  37. Joshua Says:

I’ve been meaning to pick up a few tetris ice cube trays so I can continue my research on tetris gravity.

The next test is, if when mixed with booze in a glass, do the tetris block display ‘recursive gravity’ as they did in the original? Or will they ‘flood fill’ like they did in later versions?

I plan on testing this all night.

  38. Marshall Says:

*Disclaimer: Shaking glass to fit pieces together does not increase attraction of the opposite sex.

  39. Ken Frank Says:

I need on of these for my tetris obsessed Fiance!!

  40. Adilah Says:

an even better way to make a drinking game!

  41. BrooklynMatt Says:

With a little food coloring, you could construct quite a Tetris ice sculpture!

  42. kt Says:

Last xmas i was up all hours of the night hand making a tetris quit for my then boy friend. Now I am single, and it being the holiday and me being alone, I need something to keep my drink cold while i’m up all hours of the night drinking. Possibly quilting drunk.

  43. Eric Ugland Says:

    indeed, this is a comment.

  44. Ellen Says:

I showed these to my roommate who is addicted to Tetris. She squealed because she loves Tetris so much. She made her sister change her facebook password so she won’t use facebook during finals, but she’s been addicted to tetris instead on her computer. She even brought her GameBoy Color from home to play. These would be a great gift for her. :)

  45. tetris Says:

    hello, my name is tetris

  46. mistuh_t Says:

If I had these I would hum so many Russian tunes and drink vodka, tetrice cold vodka. mmmhmm

  47. Allison Miller Says:

I would love to scorn the norm, and make some killer gummies with the nifty mold. And send pictures, of course. Who needs bears when you have blocks?

  48. Eric Says:

    OH!!
    PERFECT for my tetris parties..
i usually host three each year complete with competition graphs and stat brackets.

    its pretty serious.

we usually divide the room in half and people stand on which side they think will win.

the super nintendo version is the choice game.
wish i had some of those ice trays..

  49. Chris Patton Says:

These are super-cool (no pun intended), and I would love to win them for my fiancée! We’re trying to save money for our wedding next year, and we don’t have very much, so I would really love to win these as a Christmas present for her! When we first meet she challenged me to a video game involving some vaguely similar BLOX, and I’ve been letting her win ever since. :)

  50. Laurie Says:

i feel alive when i fit blocks together. my hands shake violently and my arm hairs stand on end. my computer now loads tetris whenever microsoft word crashes because it understands better than i do how vital the game is to control my anxiety. i fall asleep at night holding a block from my childhood and trying to make it fit in the crook between my shoulder and neck. you could not imagine the implications of bringing this passion into my kitchen.

  51. Dmitry Says:

    Here are my options:

    Ice blox for Mario.

  54. leah Says:

Mario is bored of all this block jumping. He wants a vodka.

  55. Lindsay Says:

As a kid I was obsessed with Tetris, I would play it in my head as I was going to sleep. Now I often have a cocktail to ensure sweet dreams, with this I could combine both.

  56. Jamie Says:

    tetris, just add water.

  57. phoebe Says:

I could do. My kids could do. :)

  58. Darius Says:

I’m up for it too. What a shame! :)

  59. zampik Says:

  60. Marcia Says:

Please don’t say GAME OVER — love these tetris cubes!

  61. Ivan @ NavinoT Says:

Since my mom always win in Tetris, I guess this would be the best Christmas gift ever for her.

I’ll compete with her to build the tallest Tetris structure using that ice ‘cubes’.

    yay!

  62. SteveOramA Says:

Awesome idea! I’ve always wanted my ice cubes to be shaped differently. And now I can try and put them together like a puzzle before the time runs out and they melt.

I visit http://www.freetetris.org for approximately 2 hours per day. During this leisure time, I’m usually sipping on Canada Dry Ginger Ale. You know what would make my daily meditation time perfect? Some tetris block shaped ice cubes to spice up my drink!
