Design Slovakia NGO invites cordially all interested people to visit the INTERIOR.SK.05/07 exhibition in Berlin from 4th till 29th June 2009 in Slovak Institute in Berlin, Zimmerstrasse 27. Opening of the exhibition: 4th June, 5 p.m.
Slovakia takes part at the programm of DMY Berlin with the successful exhibition INTERIOR.SK – Slovak Interiors 2005 – 2007. The selection of more than 120 interiors and designs created by Slovak architects, designers and students visited in 2009 Vienna, Budapest and three cities in Slovakia. After Berlin travels the exhibition to her last station in Prag (during Designblok 2009). INTERIOR.SK is one of the biggest projects documenting and promoting Slovak interior design, starded by Design Slovakia NGO last year. From more than 240 registered entries – realized works as projects, selected in October 2008 a jury for the exhibition and publication in a representative book about 120 works. Flats and family houses, commercial interiors like cafés, restaurants, hotels, offices as public spaces – gallerys, hospital, university and designs of interior equipment (furniture, accessories) as well are to see in the selection. The organizers will publish the INTERIOR.SK.05/07 book (written by Lubica Fabri, the curator of the project) with Slovak and English texts in September this year. In June calls Design Slovakia NGO for entries in the 2nd edition of the project – INTERIOR.SK. 08/09.
