Young Croatian design student Victor Matic created chair Zipit, which is made from simple wood components of legs and base and cardboard seat and backrest cushions. One of the legends of mmcité range and winner of the “Excellent Design 2005” award is bench Radium. Basic structure of this well-known bench is created just by bending a soft, pliable sheet metal and couple of welds. Recently bench was updated by the usage of laminated “button pads”, this approach is unique. It is something that has never been here before; new haptic effect, new opportunities in decor, new aesthetics in urban areas. The original assumptions, that the plastic elements really thermally isolate the unpleasant either cold or hot metal bench, have been proved to be true. Very original a completely new!
