Barge Beach Budapest by Urban Landscape Group

Barbara Szöllőssy & Zsolt Pyka of Urban Landscape Group from Budapest, Hungary finished new project recently. A floating beach called Barge Beach Budapest located on the Danube river, right in the city center. This unique project solve problem of Budapest citizens being cut off from the Danube by the two busy highways that run along the river. It has an area of 2100 square metres, larger than six tennis courts, with a 16-metre swimming pool, a coffe bar sand pits and a childrens’ paddling pool and sun loungers. Vadim Kibardin designed clocks where all unnecessary part are removed to get simple yet functional time piece. Designers description says: Each figure has self-contained power supply and independent control, it can be fixed to any surface autonomously.
