Theme of this year Electrolux Design Lab ’09 competition for undergraduate and graduate industrial design students was to design home appliances for next 90 years as for celebration of Electrolux 90-year anniversary. The brief was to design products that will somehow show people direction of preparing and storing food, washing clothes and doing dishes over the next nine decades. Amazing amount of entries where submitted this year – over 900 ideas from student form over 50 countries. We wish good luck to all finalists for final event on September 24, 2009 at 100% Design, London.
