Russian designer Pavel Balykin has received Reddot Design Concept award, this time for his concept Sketch+Save in Mobility nomination.
Sketch+Save combines two things that modern person would needs, a tool for writing down notes or sketching on paper and tool for storing them digitaly for future development.

Reddot Design Concept awards is held annually and is considered to be one of the most recognized in the world. This year there were received 3000 applications from 46 countries. 200 of them were marked with a Red Dot.
This is not the first time when Pavel Balykin receives a Reddot Design award. Нis work Sand+Time Watch also got a prize in 2006.

I always considered red dot as something good and serious and important. But if you look closer there is so much wrong with it!
And now it seems that they even cannot use google picture search to type in USB pen… Come on! Seriously! This is SUCH a common idea!!
This must be such a slap in the face for someone who really created something unique and lost against this…
(it really takes a lot until i’m writing something like this)
