National Technical Library in Prague (NTK) has been nominated for The Great Indoors Award 2009. Jury nominated NTK among the other four in category of Serve Facilitate – Public. What will the cars of the future look like?

The half-year battle of young designers up to 35 years of age is at its end. The winner of the Allivision09 competition, which is focused on cars of the future, is twenty-year-old Slovakian designer Adam Danko and his Sandman concept. In this video from dezeen about design in the Czech Republic is presented project Křehký by Designblok Prague. Its curators Jana Zielinski and Jiří Macek speak about exhibition which was on show at Česká spořitelna Gallery in Prague until 13 November.

Pisa Tower is multi-functional product that could be used as a shelf and desk. Transforming from one shape to other is very simple process, by taking out boxes from the inner core, you are geting levels of the shelf. All boxes are connected with one elasting strip. The box elements has only the frames, which is better and easier for production.
