Letout Outlet

Letout Outlet

Keep your electric outlets organized and safe while removing unnecessary clutter. Never have to search for an outlet multiplier again. Keep it simple, with only one push. By pressing the top of the outlet you release the rest of it’s body and the remaining outlets that were hidden inside the wall. Push back when you don’t need additional outlets.

We try to organize our homes to be as comfortable and practical as possible but sometimes all it takes are a few tweaks to make things simple. The Letout Outlet is a perfect example of hidden functionality in seemingly common household objects. The purpose of the outlet is reduce unnecessary clutter, keep outlet multipliers and cables neatly organized and generally make life easier when in need of multiple power sources. With the outlets safely hidden inside the walls multipliers become obsolete, as the additional outlets are simply a push away.

When the top of the outlet shell is pressed, the rest of it’s body is released and the remaining outlets  that were previously hidden inside the wall compartment become visible and ready to use. When they are no longer needed another simple push puts them back into their original place. The outlet’s “hidden function” concept can be used in lots of different ways. For example it can  alternatively serve as a hidden compartment for cell phone chargers.

  1. http://www.artlebedev.ru/everything/rozetkus-3d/

Or they have a deal to made this. Or it's solen.

Interesting – what is it? :-)

  2. I don`t think is stolen idea. It just happens in design world. This is one of those examples.

It happens to me all the time. Million of minds are thinking creative all the time, it`s just the question of moment who will make idea public first and claim the rights on it.

    It`s about parallel worlds! :)

  3. It doesnt matter anyway cause artlebedev already produced it… So its not just a concept it actually works [i guess]. And even if this guy has the moral copyrights if he wants to defend them it would be a costly thing to do.
