we are happy to announce the date & venue for next year’s DMY International Design Festival 2010.
From June 9 to 13, Berlin will again be filled with all the bliss contemporary design can engender.
From workshops to exhibitions, from lectures to installations, from objects to performances, the festival
will present forward-thinking, critical and artistic projects as well as a trade show of advanced products
in the fields of design.
New Venue
The festival will take place at a new main venue: The stunning architecture of tresor.m, a former
generating plant, right in the heart of Berlin-Mitte offers a unique place to re-unite all festival modules
at one central place. Here you will find the festival’s main exhibition including the Allstars area
(market-mature products by established designers and companies) as well as the Youngsters area
(forward-thinking and experimental concepts and projects by upcoming designers). Coming from the
exhibition, you can just change floors and join the numerous festival events such as the Awards
show, the Symposium, Workshops or Pecha Kucha Night.
Apply 2010
We are looking forward to submissions until February 28, 2010. It is possible to apply for the modules
Youngsters, Allstars as well as Extended (self-initiated special exhibtions during the festival period
throughout the city). Please check the websitefor further details and

Early birds
This year, we offer a special discount for early birds: If you apply for one of the modules until
December 31, 2009, you will save 20 % of stand rentals, in case the project will be selected
for festival participation.
