Words from designer:
There might exist smart things in the future. Design of morphê is an artistic reaction to that. It shows accessories just in the moment of processing their shapes to changing conditions.
The basic idea of morphê project, i.e. what table accessories might look like in 2050, is based on my previous project called artificial symbiont. It is a future concept of robotic system that might be used as a programmable matter. The system is designed as an evolving structure of billions of swarm nanobots.
Imagine that products of morphê collection will transform their shapes in reaction to your needs in 2050.

AAAD will host visitors of “That´s Design!” in Milano
In Prague February 2nd, 2010 / This year the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague takes part in the Milano international design fair called Salone Internazionale del Mobile, namely in the section “That´s Design!”. It will present the works of its students from selected studios of Product design, Glass, Ceramics and porcelain, Architecture and K.O.V (Metal and jewelry). The special exhibition´s name is “A Fiest for Visitors from Another World”. The fair will be held from 14th to 19th April 2010 in via Savona 18, Zona Tortona, Milano.
The presentation of the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague is designed as a party for visitors from another world. There is a table set with unusual tableware, where each object of daily use conveys a sense of mystery and transcends its utility purpose, while becoming a work of art. The collective school presentation represents a unified exhibition concept that is conceived by all academy studios dealing with design.
