In cooperation with the Network of Automotive Excellence (NoAE) and the automotive industry, we invite you to the cross-sector and transnational NoAE Innovation Competition: Invited are entrepreneurs, innovators, institutes, secondary institutions, technology providers, automobile suppliers and companies from other industries, who can offer innovations on the four topic clusters.
The Innovation project is already in its 4th year and is held under the auspices of the Federal Ministry for Economics and Technology (BMWi) in the Federal Republic of Germany: The official cooperation partner country for 2010 is Canada. In a joint initiative, over 100 associations, organisations, institutes, companies and media partners from over 20 countries are being called upon to the “Final Call” on September 8, 2010. At the same time, a final meeting for the 2010 competition will be held at Microsoft in Germany: “September 8th is the international Innovation Day”.
This year, new ideas all around the automobile are being searched for, especially from companies in “non-automotive” sectors. For this year’s competition, four main topic clusters are given that are of particular importance for the automobile industry.
All companies and research institutions are being called upon to contribute to the topic clusters:
- The Vehicle, a Special Environment
- Communication and IT in the Vehicle
- Eco Innovation – New Approaches to C02-Reduction
- Efficient and Flexible Production
Until September 30, 2010, innovations entries can be made via the www.noae.com platform.
The selected award winners may present their innovations at the Würzburger Automobil Gipfel 2010 (Würzburg Automobile Summit 2010). In addition, NoAE will support them for the period of one year, so that ideas will become innovation projects. In cooperation with over 100 additional organisations from over 20 countries, we support the project and invite you to participate.
About NoAE:
Noae is an intercompany initiative with the objective to strengthen the competitiveness and the future of the automotive and supplier industry. Noae is organised into project initiatives and was founded in 2002 by well-known personalities of the automotive branch and with the collaboration of the European Commission. NoAE is a member of the “Initiative Networks of Competence Germany” of the Federal Ministry for Economics and Technology (BMWi). The Final Call is taking place simultaneously in over 20 countries.
