
Dassault Systėmes and AutoDesign&Styling announce international competition for young designers. The task is to design a taxi car for the Czech capital. The winning proposal is expected to present a vision how to make these cars another characteristic symbol of Prague.
The competition is open to both professional and amateur designers under 35. The designs should outline a vision of an environmentally-friendly vehicle of the near future. Ideally, the winning design should reflect the character of Prague, as well as to satisfy the special requirements of taxi cars.
“Dassault Systėmes Design Challenge” wants to support young designers. We would like to draw attention to young talents and to help them to get valuable experience and contacts. We will be happy if the competition spurs creativity of the young generation of designers,” says Miloš Korvas, Client Executive, Dassault Systėmes.
The detailed terms and conditions of Dassault Systėmes Design Challenge can be found at the website of AutoDesign&Styling magazine where all participants can register and submit their projects. The deadline for submission is 31 August 2011. The projects will then be evaluated by a jury of experts. The winners will be officially announced in the October issue of AutoDesign&Styling and in other partner media. The winner will receive a prize of € 1,000, the runner up will get € 500 and third place will be rewarded by € 300.
