The jury of the Dassault Systèmes Design Challenge, the purpose of which is to design a taxi for Prague, will be chaired by the renowned French designer Anne Asensio. The designs, from which the jury will select a winner on 5 September 2011, can be submitted online through the website of AutoDesign&Styling magazine.
The winner of the competition, which is open to young designers under the age of 35, will present a vision to turn the taxi into another distinctive symbol of Prague. “Through the Dassault Systėmes Design Challenge we would like to support and enable young creative designers not only from the Czech Republic. Designing a taxi for the city of Prague, renowned for its beauty and focus on design, is an inspiring and challenging task. I am sure that we will receive many relevant and innovative entries, which will serve as a starting point to remodel the Prague city landscape. I look forward to coming back to Prague, a city I like a lot, participating in the judging process and meeting the Czech design community,“ said Anne Asensio, Vice President Design Experience, Dassault Systèmes.
The results of the competition will be announced at the conference on automotive design hosted by AutoDesign&Styling on 20 October 2011. Anne Asensio will be taking part alongside other renowned designers.
