If you are looking for an interesting piece of furniture, designduo ALLT revealed a new concept of simple chair and cabinet. They used spruced wood in a way it is normally stacked to avoid degradation and allow better manipulation. These random profiles and airiness which can be found in industrial context offers you a closer connection with raw material and wood structure. Every object is created by cutting out spaces and its function is transformed by adding or removing stacked material.
Studio ALLT – All That is run by Peter Simonik and Elena Bolcekova, based in Bratislava, Slovakia since 2011. They are mostly interested in design, not like a proccess, but also like a story and its purpose. For more info visit: http://www.allt.sk/index.php
