Once upon a time two girls, Anett Gálvölgyi and Anna Zsófi Kormos and two men, Ádám Baranyi and Márton Miovác have met. Their mind and souls worked well together therefore they have decided to form a fashion group. Dear reader, that’s how Hungarian label, the FOUR was born.
Their second collection for this season (2011-2012 fall/winter) is a bit Hitchcock like, elegant, dark and creepy, the silhouettes were inspired by the 1950s and 60s. The clothes are practical, serves great the urban women needs: a clutch that can be transformed into a huge bag with a single move, a skirt that can be worn as poncho, and yet, they are paired with classic pieces such as wide hats and spat on the shoes.
The dominant colour is black, but it’s completed with scarlet, gold, colours of a volcano, matched with turquoise. The cuts are bold, sometimes even origami-like, and show enough to play with the viewer’s fantasy, flirty, but it is certainly not too much. Check out their amazing and artistic campaign video HERE.
