The now well-known project of MAO Slovenia (Museum of Architecture and Design), ‘Silent Revolutions‘ will be on show during La Triennale di Milano between 14 February- 1 April 2012. The exhibition presents a wide range of design objects from the Slovene design scene, both iconic historical and contemporary pieces. Read an extended review on Silent Revolutions HERE.
An other part of this event is a discussion about ‘Women in Design’ on 15 February. The discussion will open the issue of gender in design and focus on personal experiences, creative challenges and methods of work of influential Italian and Slovenian artists in the world of contemporary design. Lara Bohinc, Carlotta de Bevilacqua, Raffaella Mangiarotti, Rossana Orlandi and Nika Zupanc will participate in the conversation which will be moderated by Silvana Annicchiarico, the director of Triennale Design Museum, and Maja Vardjan, curator of Silent Revolutions exhibition.
