The very first time I met Nubu was a couple of years ago at Mono Fashion, which is by the way the designer of Nubu, Judit Garam‘s own store. I think nowadays it’s one of the greatest brands in Hungary. The good thing about Nubu is its simplicity. In the Spring-Summer collection 2012 she is working with only five colors. Beside the monochrome colors there is some mustard on the sheath gowns and the accessories which sprinkles a little spring-feeling on the attire.

We can find basic and more refined maxi dresses, casual over-sized t-shirts with leggings, asymmetrical, high-waisted flare trousers, skirts (which are the biggest hit in this season) and boyfriend shirts. Nubu doesn’t use patterns or sophisticated, unnecessary accessories, but there are some interesting details like two of my favorites: metallic back pockets that give a nighttime-look to the simple, skinny, daytime-trousers and my other favorite, also a pocket solution, which is made out of plastic and it’s used on coats. You will love this collection if you are the kind of person who doesn’t want to overcomplicate clothing. All in all, I like the whole style of Nubu, but I would rather say no to sweat-pants with leather tank tops and high heels.
