It’s the right time to save the date for those who wish to visit “the best professional event I have ever participated in” according to its almost regular guest Konstantin Grcic. The 8th edition of Belgrade Design Week will be held in June 2nd – 9th hosting the famous international conference with a stably impressive list of participants as well as satellite programs including workshops, master-classes and exhibitions.
The traditional three-day BDW conference 2013 starts on 6th June in Museum of Yugoslav History. Its title INNOVATION2 suggests the main theme of the event: how to create new value in a fast changing world driven by innovation.
Among the invited speakers there are renowned names from the full spectrum of creative industries such as the famous Portuguese architect Alvaro Siza, Wolff Ollins, the world leading branding expert, or Hans Robertus, director of Dutch Design Week, but also upcoming European design stars including Anderssen & Voll from Norway, Adrien Rovero, a Swiss based author focused on energy saving designs, or Czech creative group OKOLO. The conference will be ended by a ceremony of European Design Awards where the best European communication designers for 2012 will be announced.
