Dassault Systèmes and AutoDesign&Styling, supported by the civic association Czechdesign and tablet magazine Dotyk, announced the third edition of the international competition for young automotive designers with the theme ‘An arbitrary object of everyday life’, where participants draw the inspiration from the unique spirit of Prague.
The applicants propose an environmentally and user friendly solution, which at the same time reflects the special characteristics of Prague as a contemporary European city, widely known for its architecture and landmarks. The aim is to illustrate the potential of improving people’s lives and having a design as a comfortable more than a luxury matter of citizen’s needs.
All of the details of Dassault Systèmes Design Challenge 2014 can be found on their website, where participants can register and enter their project. The deadline for sketches is 28 February 2014. The projects will then be assessed by a jury of experts. The winners will be announced in March issue of AutoDesign&Styling and in the tablet magazine Dotyk. The creator of the best project will be awarded a prize of EUR 1,000, the runner-up will receive EUR 500 and EUR 300 will go to the third placed entry.
