DESIGNEAST.EU is a design blog aimed to publish and promote quality design from central and eastern Europe. We constantly scan the design industry of the former eastern bloc countries for quality products, furniture, jewelry, fashion, interiors and more.
We are a group of international contributors headed by DESIGNEAST’s founder Martin Žampach. We produce rich multimedia content that brings you closer to the quality work of skilled designers. DESIGNEAST covers major designweeks, exhibitions, individual shows, interviews and news reports.
Apart from our online work we also produce a regular exhibition project called “DESIGNEAST.EU OFFLINE” which is a physical showcase of the designers and projects that we publish on our blog. Several editions of the exhibition have travelled such venues as Budapest, Prague or Delft among others.

Our motivation comes from the amazing responses we get from you and from the steeply increasing number of visitors. This is a proof to us that our work is meaningful and that you are enjoying it.
So please keep coming back for more.
DESIGNEAST covers Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Russia, Hungary, Serbia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Slovenia, and Croatia. We are expanding to cover more countries.
