About Designeast
Main idea behind DESIGNEAST.EU blog is to provide people wide scope about design movement in our part of Europe (central, eastern, south eastern).
Events and movement in product design, furniture design, light design, industrial design etc. Students presentations and final year projects. Because there you can find a lot good designs and designers so there is a lot to see. And we are showing all of this on the blog.
DESIGNEAST covers Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Russia, a bit from Hungary, part of Austria, Baltic states, Bulgaria, Serbia, Ukraine, Slovenia, Croatia and we working hard to get news from other states. We collaborate on exhibition projects and supporting events.

Martin Žampach has started this blog because of lack of information in English language about design from central and eastern Europe area. DESIGNEAST.EU already has found its readers and I’m happy that people appreciate our work on it.
