Design duo Petar Zaharinov and Konstantin Achkov presented their new furniture concept and exhibition in Credo Bonum Gallery, Sofia. They came up with hole new idea of presenting furniture more as an art and sculpture, than as an interior facility. Authors motto: “Puzzles for living“ is replica of the famous quote of Le Corbusier  - “Machines for living in”. Their aim is to make furniture and industrial machines more personal, despite the post -industrial future. Petar Zacharinov - architect and Konstantin Achkov - sculptor, both representing two different professions, share the same idea of creativity and processing. Designers want to make people more connected with their equipment and more interested in a way of assembling furniture. Puzzles for living is brilliant concept, which will more or less influence human minds and their view on mass production.

Maria S.C. chandelier designed by Pani Jurek is made from chemistry ready made tubes, closed in two plywood rings. Setup allows for experimenting with the look of the chandelier, it allows to create a variety of configurations and arrangements. The chandelier is inspired by the Polish scientific woman, Maria Sklodowska-Curie, who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for the discovery of polonium and radium.

One of the latest works from Art. Lebedev is the concept giving a new impulse to watch market, according to their task: To bring an idea to life. Studio Art. Lebedev have designed specific digital watch Integralus, which have two separated display segments. One for minutes, one for hours and each has his own baterry. These segments are designed to snap together to lock your watch. The body is made of machined aluminum. The elastic band comes in three sizes, diverse colours and uses spring shafts to connect to the body.

Design of the “Odorico Pordenone” caravan by Jakub Novák shows the possible new attitude to the interior design and the size solution. caravan feature innovative telescopic mechanism to expand it volume. Jakub has received Excellent Student Design Award for this project.

Art. Lebedev latest products are two keybords sharing the same idea of personalisation your computer workplace. Optimus Popularis may look like a normal keybord with standart layout, however it is not true. Each key can be displaying any image and be assigned with any function, from special symbols to most popular shortcuts. Cukorka Sweetfabric is a new design confectionry by designer Anett Hajdú and design store (Insitu and Front) owner, András Gerzsenyi. The store has opened this month (December 2011), in downtown Budapest, in the 5th district (see address below). Cukorka is not only a store but also a workshop for these delicious hand-made wonders. All candies are made on the spot by the staff who are kindly guide you through the workshop and the process itself everyday (the tour takes 1 hour).

One of the last concepts that have been awarded with Red Dot Award: design concept is strongly connected with agriculture same as the country which its designer comes from. David Polášek (1984) graduated with masters degree in industrial design on Tomáš Bata University in Czech republic. His main goals in design are: simlicity of product, smart solutions and form should strictly follow the function. These features are easily recognisable in the very last concept NOVO.

NOVO is futuristic vision of tractor in near future. Its design involves aerodynamics and nearly trend views, these two factors highlights the logic of a moving object. Whole concept includes new attitudes to ergonomics, functioning and creation of every separated part of machine. NOVO is not only the name of David Polášek concept, but also the name of design studio which he is head designer of.

Wormhole is concept of foldable seats for public places from Igor Lobanov which was awarded by the Red Dot Design Award: design concept 2011. It consists of two identical framed elements of fabric that can be fixed into a single-volume seat using zips very easily. Also it takes up little space when disassembled and stored that makes it perfect for big public events.
