Students of Institute of Art and Design (Pilsen) presented in Jannuary and February their semestral projects in Avalon Business Center. The exhibition started with a fashion show and visitors could afterwards see works from areas: industrial and product design, graphic design, fashion design, jewellery, ceramic design, illustration, multimedia, sculpture, book binding or spatial art. Some of the woks are now presented at another exhibition Crime and Punishment in the West-Bohemian Museum (Pilsen). It will be opened until 18th April. Read the rest of this entry »

Serbia’s first step on the international design scene, officially titled Young Serbian Designers (YSD), was considered as strategic promotion of the new Serbian design scene at the talent zone of the Saloni Satellite of the Milan’s Saloni in April 2009. Initiated by the cultural organization Mikser and Serbian Investment and promotion Agency (SIEPA), Milan’s Saloni was chosen as the strategic location because it is widely regarded the most important design event worldwide.
